Emphasis on technical specifications of user and application needs.

There is a detailed summary of all the telematics application sites, including the initial specifications of user needs in that area, validation trials and technical analysis. The entire PERIPHERA infrastructure is also presented, including site locations and user privileges. Also covered are the maintenance and updating of information and the technical aspects of the platforms and user terminals.

There is a project summary, including the iterative approach used, user needs and verification methods used. The report gives a concise summary of the results of the initial stages of PERIPHERA's progress. The bulk of the report covers each of the validation sites in detail. The problems (both technical and in interpretation) encountered by users have been recorded, with the solutions also presented.
