  The main objective of WP2 is to collect user requirements related to ICARE. This involves collective work in which all partners provide a major input based on their training and consulting experience. To facilitate collection, the work-package will be divided into two tasks : task 2.1: collection of user requirementstask 2.2: definition of userrequirements.  
 
 

Deliverable D31

 
 
  This document is the second deliverable of the European ICARE 9000 project (UR 1016) in the Telematics Applications Programme supported by the European Commission. The ICARE 9000 project stands for ISO 9000 On-Demand Consulting And Remote Electronic - training for SMEs in urban & rural areas. ICARE 9000 is a 2 year project, which began in January 1996 .

 ICARE 9000 provides a teletraining platform to help SMEs gain ISO 9000 certification. It offers PC telematic services, connected to ISDN, such as Videoconferencing, Application sharing, Booking Prototype, Multimedia Mail and Multimedia Database. The users involved in the ICARE 9000 project are 24 SMEs and 6 TCs in France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands and Portugal.

The purpose of this second deliverable is to specify the ICARE 9000 prototype based on the user requirements defined in the first deliverable, D21

Implementation of the ICARE 9000

Abstract:
This document is the 5th deliverable of the European ICARE 9000 project (UR 1016) in the Telematics Applications Programme supported by the European Commission. The ICARE 9000 project stands for ISO 9000 On-Demand Consulting And Remote Electronic - training for SMEs in urban & rural areas. ICARE 9000, co-ordinated by TELES AG in Berlin, is a 2 year project, which began in January 1996.

ICARE 9000 proposes a pedagogical methodology and a teletraining platform to help SMEs to achieve ISO 9000 certification. It will offer telematic services such as Videoconferencing, Application Sharing, Booking Prototype, Multimedia Mail and Multimedia Database based on PC and connected to ISDN. The validation sites of ICARE 9000 are represented by 6 training centres and 24 SMEs across 6 European countries.

The purpose of the Prototype Delivery deliverable is to describe the functionality and the integration status of the ICARE 9000 Prototype. This description is primarily based on the previously developed Prototype Specification (see deliverable D31) and the Intermediate Prototype Delivery D43.

  Validation Report of ICARE 9000

Abstract:
This document is the deliverable D51 of the European ICARE 9000 project (UR 1016) in the Telematics Applications Programme supported by the European Commission. The ICARE 9000 project stands for ISO 9000 On-Demand Consulting And Remote Electronic - training for SMEs in urban & rural areas. ICARE 9000, co-ordinated by TELES AG in Berlin, is a 2 year project, which began in January 1996. The deliverable is the result of WP05 and was structured and co-ordinated by the workpackage leader PSI and finalised by the project co-ordinator TELES. The Peer Review by Joana dos Guimaräes Sa is enclosed.

The purpose of the Validation Report deliverable is to validate the ICARE 9000 prototype, i.e. the user interface, the services offered, the training methodology and pedagogy as well as the content of the training and information access modules. This description is based on the previously developed ICARE 9000 prototype, described in Deliverable D41, the evaluation sheets for the training module, the user interface, the services and the content and completes activities already described in deliverable D61 on the Installation of an International ISDN-network as well as the Training Report in D71.
